Tandoori Chicken Without Oven

Ingredients:
Chicken whole legs – 2(500 gms)
Table salt – 1 tsp (for chicken brining) + 1.5 tsp for marination
Turmeric powder – ½ tsp
Red chilli powder – 1.5 tsp
Tandoori masala powder – 1 tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Garam masala powder – 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp
Kasuri methi – ½ tsp
Lemon juice – 3 tsp
Thick curd – 2 tsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Preparations:
Chicken Brining:
1) Take chicken in a vessel, add 1 tsp salt, 500 ml water
2) Keep it aside for 1 hour.
Chicken marination:
1) Take a plate, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, 1.5 tsp table salt, tandoori masala powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste, kasuri methi and mix them
2) Add lemon juice, thick curd and make a paste
3) Mix this paste to chicken pieces.
4) Keep this in refrigerator for overnight
Procedure:
1) Heat oil in a pan, add chicken pieces (room temperature)
2) Cover and cook on low flame for 25 mins.
3) Flip after every 5 mins.
4) Heat a grill on stove top
5) Place the cooked chicken piece on the grill for 1 min
6) Flip it to other side and place on the grill for 1 min
Serve hot as a snack, chapati or rice
