Ingredients:
Potato – 1
Gram flour/ Besan – 2 tsp
Groundnut oil – 1 tsp
Mustard seeds – 1tsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Onion – 1 (big) (cut into thin vertical slices)
Green chilli – 4-5
Curry leaves – 1 sprig
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tsp
Tomato – 1
Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
Table salt – ¾ tsp or as per taste
Preparations:
1) Boil potato, remove peel, mash the potato 2) Besan-water mixture: Mix besan with water (add little by little water, so that there are no lumps), then dilute it with water (total 100 ml water is required) Procedure:
1) Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds
2) Let them splutter
3) Add onion, green chilli, curry leaves
4) Cover and cook on medium flame for 3 mins
5) Add ginger garlic paste, fry on low flame for 2 mins
6) Add tomato, turmeric powder
7) Cover and cook on medium flame for 5 mins
8) Add table salt, mix well, add 250 ml water
9) Cover and cook on medium flame for 15 mins
10) Add boiled and mashed potato, besan water mixture
11) Cover and cook on low flame for 4 mins
12) Add coriander leaves
13) Cover and cook on low flame for 2 mins
14) Bombay chutney or poori curry can be served with poori/ dosa/ chapati (It will be perfect for poori)

Note: If you don’t have a measuring cup, regular teacup will be approximately 100 ml (100 gms)
