HOW TO MAKE QUICK AND HEALTHY TAMARIND RASAM | WINTER SPECIAL TAMARIND RASAM WITHOUT TOMATOES

Ingredients Groundnut oil – 2 tbsp Garlic pods – 8 Mustard seeds – 1 tsp Cumin seeds – 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds – 8 no. Red chilli – 2 Curry leaves – 2 sprigs Tamarind – 1 lemon size Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp Rock salt – 1.5 tsp Preparations: 1) Soak lemon size tamarind in 250 ml water for 30 mins 2) Squeeze the juice and keep aside Procedure: 1) Heat oil in a pan, add crushed garlic pods 2) Fry on low flame till they turn light brown color 3) Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, red chilli, curry leaves 4) Fry on low flame for 30 sec 5) Add tamarind juice, 750 ml water, turmeric powder, rock salt 6) Cover and cook till it roll boils 7) At this point lower the flame 8) Cover and cook on low flame for 10 mins 9) Add finely chopped coriander leaves 10) Serve it with rice and keema Note: If you don’t have a measuring cup, regular teacup will be approximately 100 ml (100 gms) #vitaceaekitchen #tamarindrasam #howtomaketamarindrasam
